In 2025, swatchbook became part of CLO Virtual Fashion, a global leader in 3D garment design and visualization technologies. The move positioned CLO as the largest digital fabric database company in the world, enhancing the fabric content and design experience for all users within CLO’s comprehensive ecosystem of products and services, including CLO, CLO-SET, CLO-vise and Marvelous Designer.

The Challenge
Fifth has partnered with the swatchbook team since 2017, building a strong and lasting collaboration. Together, we developed the MVP, supported the onboarding of paying clients, and continuously delivered new features that enhance the swatchbook experience.
Our focus — then and now — is consistent: to ensure every feature meets the highest software development standards while maintaining seamless, transparent, and frequent collaboration.
Our Solution
The partnership between Fifth and swatchbook by CLO is a strong addition to our track record. Through close collaboration — from deep industry exploration to continuous quality-focused discussions — we developed solutions that drive real value for swatchbook’s platform and users.

The Results:
We work with the swatchbook team in two-week sprints following an agile development approach. This structure helps us stay organized, maintain clear priorities, and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
One of the key challenges is the 12-hour time difference between our Armenian and US teams, along with collaborators from the UK. Despite this, we’ve built an efficient workflow through overlapping working hours, asynchronous communication, and structured sprint reviews.
Our ongoing goal is to refine this process to better align with swatchbook’s strategic objectives and ensure we consistently deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our customer/partner needs.
