The Challenge
Performanta, a leading MSSP and cybersecurity solutions provider, relies heavily on automation to ensure swift and accurate incident response. In 2021, they faced the high-stakes challenge of migrating from Palo Alto XSOAR to Google Chronicle SOAR. This transition had to be seamless and fast to prevent disruption to operations and client-facing services.
They needed expert SOAR developers capable of executing this complex migration under tight deadlines. That’s where we came in.
Our Solution
We provided exceptional end-to-end support throughout the entire migration. Our team meticulously ported all existing functionalities from XSOAR to Chronicle SOAR and introduced new enhancements to optimize the new platform’s performance.

>/ Migrated 30+ playbooks and sub-playbooks vital to incident response
>/ Rebuilt 230+ custom automation actions in Chronicle SOAR
>/ Implemented 5 custom integrations and connectors to fetch, map, and process alert data, and perform EDR actions
>/ Overhauled the Service Desk integration (Python 3), ported to Chronicle SOAR
>/ Designed and built a custom SLA tracking and notification solution from scratch
The Results:
The entire migration was completed within an impressive 5 months, ahead of the 6-month schedule, and with zero disruption to clients & analyst team. The transition to the new platform was remarkably smooth, a testament to the Fifth’s exceptional support and expertise.
